Construction and Demolition Recycling
Construction and Demolition (C&D) material accounts for 19% of our diversion on campus, the second highest contributor after paper. We are able to give discounts for source separated wood, paper, metal, and green waste. Although we do not offer discounts, source separated concrete, dirt, and drywall can be recycled as well. Here is a list of what is acceptable and is not acceptable in mixed C&D loads that are sent to a C&D recycling facility:
