PSSI and the Stanford Recycling Center provide recycling and solid waste management services for the greater Stanford University community, including collection, processing, and marketing of recyclables, collection of food and compostable materials, and operation of the Stanford Recycling Drop-Off Center.
PSSI helps educate the community about the benefits of reducing, reusing, recycling, and composting waste and the impacts of landfilling waste.
The University is currently diverting 61% of its waste away from the landfill!
